GRACE STOKELL (nee BATES) Peacefully, on November 17, 1999, Grace Stokell passed away at Concordia Hospital. Grace was born in Winnipeg, July 11, 1915 and resided in Elmwood all her life. She worked at The Bay for 30 years until her retirement in 1983. Grace is survived by her loving family, two sons, Roy (Maureen) and Grant (Faye) daughter Barbara; grandson Gary (Teresa) and great-grandsons, Cole and Ty; grandson Brent (Carol) sisters, Ethel, Pearl and Wanda; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 1968. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Thank you to Dr. Jack Rusen for the care and compassion of Moms immediate needs while under his care. We express our sincere thanks to the staff of The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their care and compassion.
