Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE (MARGE) BEATRICE MARTIN (nee McCARVILLE) September 19, 1920 - November 17, 1999 On Wednesday, November 17, 1999, Marjorie Beatrice Martin passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79 years. Marge was predeceased by her husband Arthur (Gus) Martin in 1991. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families, Phil and Corinne, Kim and Nancy, Lyle and Dale, Paula (Trevor), Josh and Mackenzie, Curtis; Grant and Val, Danielle, Aimee and Megan; Pat and Tara, Jeff and Nick; Virginia and Chris, Leanna, Linsey and Lauren Beckwith; Joann and Doug, Caitlin and Spencer Mackie; Rod and Dianne, Kristin and Kelly. She will also be missed by her sister Joyce Horgan and brother Bud McCarville of Prince Edward Island as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marge was born in Charlottetown, PEI and was married to Gus on June 5, 1946. As Dad was a member of the R.C.A.F., the family lived in numerous places including PEI, Labrador, Germany and finally settling in Winnipeg in 1960. Moms greatest joy was her family and thrived on having everyone together for any and all occasions. Her grandchildren were all the apple of Nanas eye. Mom was the most kindhearted, loving and giving person. She was a natural at making everyone who met her feel comfortable and welcome. Marge will be sadly missed by all that knew her. On Wednesday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m., funeral mass will be celebrated in memory of Marge in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue with the Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson presiding. Interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery. We the family, would like to extend many thanks to the staff and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Marges memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Wpg., MB, R3A 1P6 or to a charity of your choice.
