The family home was at 1182 Valour Rd. Survived by her children, Lois Sweezey (nee Grausdin) of Winnipeg, Ruth Cork (nee Nelson) of Mission, B.C. and Ken Nelson of Vancouver; five grandchildren and their families. Predeceased by a son in infancy and a grandson Larry John Horsfall. Mom died peacefully in her sleep on October 22, 199 after a battle with cancer. A memorial service was held in Vancouver on October 25.
