GEORGE ALFRED BEATON It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear brother George on November 19, 1999, at the Selkirk General Hospital. George was born in 1928 in St. Andrews, Manitoba and lived there his entire life. George was a crane operator for R. Litz and Sons for 30 years. He leaves to mourn his passing sisters, Alma Reid, Beatrice Leigh, Edith (Dan) Greening, Myrtle (Jack) Mondor, Georgina Wasio, Geraldine (Gordon) Moodie and numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, William and Grace Beaton; sister Grace Mickolson; brothers, Clifford, Clarence and Wilfred; also sisters-in-law, Muriel, Mary and Muriel and brothers-in-law, Ralph, Stan, John and Tony. In accordance with Georges wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. The family would like to thank the ambulance attendants, Dr. B. Bedi, Diane Stolar, Lorraine Dacombe, Palliative Care Unit and all the wonderful nursing staff for their care. The family would like to say thank you to Lou and Laura Dutchak for all their concern and help with George, it was very much appreciated. Thank you to nieces Glenda Aquin, Janice Knutson and Marilyn Olason. Just a prayer from us who love you. A precious memory, kind and true To us you were someone special, Our God must have thought so too.
