He was currently fulfilling his second term on town council and was active with Lutheran Church of the Cross, Morris Area Senior Services, Morris Manor Board, Valley Regional Library and the Morris Ambulance Board. He was also a Board member of Manitoba Lotteries Corporation. Jack is survived by his wife Ruth; children, Jackie (Kyle) and David (Alicia), granddaughter Tess and sister Jean and Bob Major as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Mary and his parents Eileen and Harry. The family would like to extend special thanks for the wonderful care and compassion of the staff at the Morris General Hospital.
