LYDIA SCHINKEL (nee BIEDLER) Peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 1999 our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lydia Schinkel aged 91 years, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Man. She was predeceased by her husband Reinhold in 1994 as well as one sister and two brothers. Left to cherish her memories are sons: Elvin (Yvette), Harold (Joyce), Reinhardt (Evelyn), Ronnie (Betty), Leslie (Elizabeth), daughter Norma (Harold) as well as fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one brother Manuel (Shirley), sister-in-law Liz Biedler and brother-in-law Norbert Arnhold. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour with Pastor Arlene Berg officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may view on Monday at the funeral chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service. Pallbearers will be her granddaughters with her grandsons being honourary pallbearers. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lac du Bonnet Personal care Home, Lac du Bonnet, MB.
