KATHLEEN MARIE LAING (nee WILLIAMS) (1909 - 1999) Peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 1999 at the Heritage Lodge in Winnipeg, Kathleen passed away. She will be greatly missed by her son Jack (Margo) granddaughters, Michelle and Kimberly; daughter-in-law Janete; grandchildren, Julie (Ron) Paterson and Rick Laing. Kath was fond of all of her family and will be especially missed by niece Bernice Worthington and her family; and nephews, Cal and Donnie Williams and their families. Kath is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Isabel Laing, Aileen Crease, Anne Easton; and brother-in-law Howard Miller; and all their families. Kath was predeceased by her husband Alexander in March of 1999 and sons, Bobby and Dick. At Kaths request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Katherines memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Our family would like to thank the caring staff of Heritage Lodge for their excellent care of Kathleen over the past year. We would also like to thank the Home Care workers who enabled Kath to stay at home for so long, especially Eileen Strum and Rhonda Vandervis.
