KATHLEEN ROSE LESLIE Suddenly, on Friday, November 19, 1999, Kathleen Rose Leslie of Winnipeg, passed away in Erickson, Manitoba. Predeceased by first husband Roy Horn, who passed away in 1955, and second husband Len Leslie; daughter Isabell Twerdochlib; sons, John and Cliff Horn. Rose will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Left to mourn are sister Lillian Rainbird (Howard) of Kelowna, B.C.; brother Jack Roche (Alice) of Vanderhoof, B.C.; son Morris Horn (Marion) of Ile des Chenes; daughters, Betty Foster (George) of Victoria, B.C. and Marg McMurachy (Neil) of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law Wilma Horn; son-in-law Andy Twerdochlib of Erickson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Rose loved life, raised family, worked in Virden Hospital, spent many years as a hairdresser. She enjoyed her home, garden, bowling, traveling, golfing, refit exercise, entertaining family and friends. Her yearly family picnics in the park were enjoyed by all. We will miss you, Mom. A Memorial Service in Winnipeg, 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 26 at St. Andrews River Heights United Church, 255 Oak St. Burial Service in Virden, Man. at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 24. G. R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, 383 Wellington St. W., Virden, Man., in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
