ESTHER LOUISE METCALFE On Monday, November 22, 1999 at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, MB, Esther Louise Metcalfe, aged 70 years, beloved wife of the late Reginald Clayton Metcalfe of Carman, MB. Esther will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her three sisters, Mary (Cecil) Dracass, Ethel Dracass, all of Carman, and Emma Sheeley of Ottawa, Kansas. She also leaves to mourn, brother-in-law Floyd (Reta) Metcalfe of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Joyce Taylor of Winnipeg, MB, Eileen Wilson of White Rock, BC, Hazel (Bill) Berry of Russell, MB; numerous nephews and nieces; great-nephews and great-nieces; and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces. Esther was predeceased by her parents; her husband Clayton; her sister Olive and brothers, Frank and Hedley. Esther Louise was the youngest child born to Abbott and Ethel Taylor of Graysville, MB on August 2, 1929. She married Clayton Metcalfe on July 5, 1947. The essence of Esther Metcalfe is that she gave unconditional love to everyone she associated with and through this love brought joy and happiness to all who knew her. Funeral service will be held at the Carman Gospel Light Church in Carman, on Thursday, November 25, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Carter and Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Viewing will take place at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, on Wednesday, November 24, at 7:00 p.m. Special thanks to all Esthers care givers who supported her and her family in a time of need.
