Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA DE JESUS SOUSA MOTA It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maria de Jesus, known as Natalia, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Monday, November 22, 1999, at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Natalia was born in 1922 on the island of S. Miguel, Azores, Portugal. She immigrated with her family to Winnipeg, Canada, in 1971. Natalia was a special and kind person, loved by all who knew her. She was the pillar of the entire family and took great pride and joy in bringing everyone together for the precious Sunday afternoon family gatherings. Natalia will be lovingly remembered by her husband Elisio; her seven children, Armenio (Julieta), Fernando (Maria do Carmo), Ines, Carlos (Fatima), Elisa (Antonio), Luciano, Filomena; and her 13 grandchildren, Joe, Paula (Rui), Zenaida, Catarina (Paulo), Harman (Sheri), Carlos, Albert, Elisa, Carlos, Tony, Dina, Natalie, and Lenny. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, November 24, at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Parish with Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. This is an excerpt from Natalias favourite prayer book: Doce Coracao de Maria, Sede a minha Salvacao.
