LORNE WALKEY McTAVISH (Former owner of McTavish Motors, Cardale, MB, a member of Cardale Masonic Lodge and an avid curler and golfer) at the Villa Care Centre, Midland, on Friday, November 19, 1999. Lorne McTavish in his 85th year, beloved husband of Grace McTavish, recently of Sandy Cove, ON, and lifelong resident of Cardale, MB. Dear father of Dr. Merilyn McTavish (Mrs. W. Norman Grieve) of Midland, Eleanor and her husband James Chestnutt of Mississauga, and Jim McTavish and his wife Delores of Barrie; loving grandfather of Geoff and Mike Grieve, Jimmy and Peter Chestnutt, Eric and Bree McTavish; and great-grandfather of Kadan McTavish; dear brother of Wilf McTavish and his wife Winn of Ste. Anne, MB, Mary and her husband Bill Webb of Minnedosa, MB; and brother-in-law of Isabelle McTavish of Newdale, MB and her late husband Ches McTavish; and his late brother Norman McTavish of Cardale, MB. Funeral service was held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Clapperton and Worsley Sts., Barrie, ON, on Sunday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
