CECILE CARON Paisiblement au Centre Tache le 24 novembre 1999, Cecile Caron est decedee a lage de quatre-vingt-quatre ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil une belle-soeur Aline Caron et deux nieces et leur epoux Nicole Caron-Boulet (Marcel Boulet) et Lise Caron-Landry (Normand Landry) ainsi quun petit neveu Marc Landry et trois petites-nieces Natalie, Sylvie et Janelle Landry. Seront dans la maison du Pere pour laccueillir, ses parents, Francois-Xavier et Josephine et ses deux freres Jean-Baptiste et Joseph. Cecile a consacre plusiers annees de sa vie a prodiguer des soins attentifs et compatissants aupres de son frere malade Jean-Baptiste et de ses parents. Elle a ensuite oeuvre a lagence de voyage dEschambault. A la retraite, elle est devenue Associees des Soeurs Grises, benevole au Centre Tache et Auxiliaire du Centre Tache. Les prieres seront recitees en leglise du Precieux-Sang, 200, rue Kenny le lundi 29 novembre a 10h00 suivie de la messe des funerailles qui sera celebree par labbe Marcel Chaput. Lenterrement aura lieu au cimetiere de Saint-Boniface, rue Archilbald. La famille remercie sincerement le personnel du Centre Tache et ceux et celles, qui par leur presence et leurs prieres ont soutenu Cecile pendant sa longue maladie. Un merci special, a une benevole extraordinaire Annette Marion, a une infirmiere speciale, Marilyn et a sa bonne amie Zenobie Champagne, residente du Centre Tache. Les personnes enteressees peuvent faire un don a la memoire de Cecile au Centre Tache, 185 rue Despins ou a Precieuxfonds a la Paroisse du Precieux-Sang, 200, rue Kenny. La direction des funerailles a ete confiee au salon funeraire Desjardins, 233-4949. CECILE CARON Peacefully at Tache Centre, Cecile Caron passed away on November 24, 1999 at the age of 84 years. Cecile is survived by a sister-in-law Aline Caron; two nieces and their husbands, Nicole Caron-Boulet (Marcel Boulet) and Lise Caron-Landry (Normand Landry) as well as one grand-nephew Marc Landry and three grand-nieces, Natalie, Sylvie and Janelle Landry. She was predeceased by her parents, Francois-Xavier and Josephine and two brothers, Jean-Baptiste and Joseph. Cecile spent many years as the caring and compassionate caregiver for her sick brother Jean-Baptiste and her parents. Subsequently, she worked for many years for the DEschambault Travel Agency. During retirement, she was a Grey Nun Associate, Tache Centre volunteer and member of the Tache Centre Auxiliary. Prayers will be said at 10:00 a.m. in the Precieux-Sang Church at 200 Kenny Street on Monday, November 29 followed by Mass of the Christian Burial celebrated by Father Marcel Chaput. Interment will be at the St. Boniface Cemetery on Archilbald Street. The family wishes to extend thanks and appreciation to the staff at Tache Centre and to everyone who by their actions and prayers were a source of support for Cecile during her long illness. A very special thanks to an exceptional volunteer, Annette Marion, to a nurse who is a true witness of what nursing is all about, Marilyn and to Ceciles special friend and co-resident, Zenobie Champagne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ceciles memory to the Tache Centre, 185 Despins St., or to Precieuxfonds at the parish of Precieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. Arrangements entrusted to Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 233-4949 or toll free 1-888-233-4949.
