WALTER J.P. LAMPE, Ph.D. Passed away at aged 69, peacefully and with dignity on November 25, 1999. He was predeceased by his son Yale, his parents Lenore and William, and his brother Norman (husband of Erna and father of Dawn and Darcy). He is survived and deeply mourned by his wife Miriam (Miggie) his son Jonathan (and his wife Dana) his grandchildren, William and James; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Erna Lampe, Isadore and Cynthia Coop and Lucy and Max Rifkin and the members of their families. Walter was a gifted student, educator, artist, athlete and mentor and will be fondly remembered by those he touched through the many facets of his life. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of 3E Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care. The funeral was held on November 26 and the family will be sitting Shiva at 554 Oak St. Donations may be made to the Sharon Home in Winnipeg or the Winnipeg Foundation.
