Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA FEDORYSHYN (nee MUSHALUK) AND STEVEN FEDORYSHYN Maria Oct. 12, 1909 - Nov. 24, 1999 Stephen Jan 9, 1903 - Nov. 26, 1999 With sadness we announce the passing of our much loved parents. Left to cherish their memories are their daughters, Roslyn (John) Bohonos, Ann Dunn, Victoria (Ken) Groening, Stephanie (Peter) Verchomin, Dorothy (Norm) Willey and Luba (Ron) Brown; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Steven was the last surviving sibling of eight children. Maria was predeceased by her brothers, John and Sam. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Tekla Vinji of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nellie Edbom of Piney, Manitoba; her brothers, Harry of Caliento, Maurice and Mike of Piney and Peter of Prince George, British Columbia. Mom and Dad celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 19, 1999. Mom was born in Winnipeg. At a very young age Mom moved with her parents and an older brother to homestead in Caliento, Manitoba. Dad was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1927. In 1934 he met and married Mom. Together they settled on a farm in Caliento where they would raise their children and live for most of their lives. After retirement, they went to reside with their daughter, Ann, in Toronto, Ontario until it became necessary for them to go to a nursing home. The family would like to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge (Poseidon) for their kindness and the special care given to Maria and Stephen Fedoryshyn. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be sent to the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3M 1Y3 or a charity of your choice. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Avenue. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, North Main, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Vichnaya Pamyat Forever Remembered Fontaines Funeral Service in care of arrangements. (204) 229-3675.
