CARL (BERT) GILLE Mr. Bert Gille, aged 76 years, dearly beloved husband of Irene of Winnipeg, Man. passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on Thursday, November 25, 1999, at the Concordia Hospital. Besides his wife Irene, he is survived by five daughters: Marilyn and Lois, both of Winnipeg, Man., Janice (Glen) of Victoria, B.C., Cheryl (Mike) and Donna (Mark), all of Winnipeg; and his son Scott of Portage la Prairie, Man; his grandchildren, Tonia, Allan, Tina, Craig, Erin, and Caitlin; one sister Pauline Behrsin of Kenora, Ont; also his brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and by his sisters, Elsie and Edith. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. East, Beausejour, Man. with Pastor Jeff Andrews officiating. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Concordia Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Bert. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man. R3C 4G2, or to a charity of their choice.
