ISABELLE MARY HEATHERINGTON (LaCROIX) Isabelle Heatherington passed away November 25, 1999 at St. Boniface Hospital. Mom was born in Esterhazy, SK, on June 26, 1920. She was one of eight children. She was predeceased by her daughter Dianne in 1996. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Pat Heatherington; and four sons, Wayne, Ron, Randy and Ken; also by her grandchildren, Jennifer Lapierre (Coran), Brent Dillon (Darla), Sean Dillon (Akemi), Kathy Kazer (Brad), Dean Heatherington, Mylene and Kristin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom had lived a very active life and as one would say "never let the grass grow under her feet". She was always a good listener and had a good sense of humour. Her grandchildren loved to visit her because they knew she would have lots of goodies for them. They especially loved her kindness and help. Mom belonged to a Winnipeg group called the Strollers and would go on a variety of trips with them. She enjoyed being out and socializing. She also enjoyed her many friends in her apartment complex, where she was involved in organizing their many activities. They were special friends to her. In celebration of her new "life" and her joining with Dianne, we are happy for the peace she is now having. We will miss you mom and you will be forever in our thoughts. Thank you for all you were, and how you touched our lives. God Bless You. A Celebration of Isabelles Life will take place on Tuesday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Victory Memorial Church, 254 Arnold Ave. at Osborne, with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Thank you to Dr. Kahanovitch and staff at 5E St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness in attending to Mom.
