DAVID MARSHALL PHILLIP PIRIE It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our husband, son, brother and friend, David Marshall Phillip Pirie. Dave, age 29 years, died accidentally in a traffic mishap near Portage la Prairie on Saturday, November 27, 1999. Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife Ortha; parents, Douglas and Diana Fabas-Pirie and Gary and Barbara (nee Marshall) Lewandowski; sister Christina Simmons (Dave Hicks) special friend Dawn DeFehr; paternal grandmother Dorothy Hinther; parents-in-law, Bob and Sandra Pigeon; and his beloved dog Pongo. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Canada and abroad. Dave rests in the loving arms of his grandparents, Violet and William Marshall; Alexandre and Irene Fabas. Dave will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew him - ever eager to lend a hand or share a joke and a cup of coffee. His thoughtfulness touched many lives and he will truly be missed. The funeral service will be held at Christ the King Church on 847 St. Marys Road, Winnipeg at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3.
