FRANKLIN "Doc" GREGG DOHERTY After a courageous battle with cancer, Dad joined his beloved Rose in heaven on November 28, 1999. He leaves to cherish memories, his five daughters, Judy (Bernie) Stutzke, Linda (Arch) Allison, Karen (Murray) Bounds, Kim (Fred) Strawson, and Wendy McCarthy. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Donald and his sister Lorraine, and by his wife, Rose, to whom he was married for 48 years. Frank was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on March 10, 1926. He served in the Second World War with the RCAF. He retired in 1970. He worked tinsmithing, then with CAE, and finally with Natural Resources in Rennie, Manitoba. "Doc" was always a kibitser and he loved to tease his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to Dr. P. Tomy, Dr. P. Harris, and the dedicated staff on N3E at Concordia Hospital for unit for their support to the family and for taking good care of Dad. As per Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Franklins memory to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9.
