MITCHELL EDWARD DIXON Suddenly on November 20, 1999 at the age of 32, Mitchell Dixon passed away. Mitchell is survived by his beloved daughter Katrina; his mother and father Rosemary and Herman; brother Greg, Sylvia, Sage and Ian; grandparents to Katrina, Eva and Gerry; mother to Katrina, Yvette; and many other family, friends and neighbours. Born in Plumas, Mitchell will be remembered by all as a strong willed, independent man. As a leader of the Wheelin Reelin Fishing Team, Mitchell had the drive, determination, and leadership to keep busy and to follow his heart. In his passing he will be loved, cherished, and remembered in everyones hearts. He touched the lives of many and will hold a special place in each one of us. The funeral was held on Friday, November 26 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gladstone United Church, Gladstone, Manitoba, with Rev. Blair Whyte officiating. Mitchell was laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa, Manitoba. Pallbearers were Neil Rossnagel, Eric Murray, Daryl Wilson, John Menheer, Kelvin Rempel, and Brent Single. Ushers were Don & Terry Sollner. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a trust fund set up for Mitchells daughter at the Bank of Montreal, Gladstone Branch, Gladstone, MB, R0J 0T0. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
