CATHERINE ROSE DRYSTEK (nee ADAMEK) After a brief illness, Cathie passed away on November 27, 1999. Cathie was born in Garson, MB. on June 6, 1931. She was a gifted child who skipped grade 5 in school. She moved to Winnipeg in her teens and was employed with Christies, where whe met many life long friends. In her later years she was employed with Scott-Bathgate. In between, she had what she always said was her favorite career, raising her four children (Darrell, Drew, Charlotte, and Connie). Her legacy was her strong faith in God, the power of doing a good deed, and her endless love and affection for animals and children, especially her grandchildren, Reece, Sara, Edin, and Amy. Cremation has taken place. No memorial service as per Cathies wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Childrens Hospital Research Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
