PHYLLIS REYNOLDS 1916 - 1999 In her 83rd year, our mother passed away suddenly and peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 1999. She leaves to celebrate her life and remember her with enormous love, respect and gratitude, her children, Iris, Alice and Robert and their partners, Garth Arnason, Bob Turton and Sandy Reynolds; her grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure, Alice, Signy, Garth, Jim, Colleen and Rochelle; and her great-grandchildren who delighted and amazed her, Brandon, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Megan, Allix, Jillian and Rhett. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry William; mother and father, Alice and Charles Spiers; and brother Roland. Throughout her life Mom was a superb cook, beautiful seamstress and knitter and took great pride in keeping an immaculate home. Our home was always full of laughter and our friends and neighbours were always welcome to share what we had. While she loved life, the driving force behind her was her ability to love unconditionally, forgive and always maintain a sense of humour. Moms devotion to God and to her family was unparalleled. Her biggest wish was to spend her final years in her home, and for accomplishing that we are grateful to God. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Home Care staff for their care and compassion. Mom was a wise woman, a gracious woman, an honourable woman and we feel blessed to have shared in such a special souls life. She was and always will be our angel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garth Arnason Sr., Garth Arnason Jr., Jim Turton, Bob Turton, Signy Arnason and Alice Arnason. Honorary pallbearer will be Colleen Wasylko.
