RON TELESKY It is with great sorrow that we must accept the passing of our much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend Ron Telesky. Peacefully, on November 28, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital with his dear and loving family at his side, Ron grasped the hand of the Lord and gracefully passed away at the age of 59. He was predeceased by his father Alexander Telesky and mother Jessie Telesky. Ron was well known through his many years and dedication to his well established business, Telesky Taxidermist Ltd. Ron also devoted much time to the many associations in which he was proudly a member, Manitoba Big Game Assoc. (President 1983-1985), Heather Game and Fish, Manitoba Lodges and Outfitters, Manitoba Wildlife Federation, Northern Ontario Tourist Outfitters, Saskatchewan Outfitters Assoc. and Lord Selkirk Lodge, No. 137. Those of us who were blessed to have known Ron will remember him as the kind and gentle man he was. The joy, laughter, and smile he brought to us all will be sadly missed. Rons family and grandchildren were a main source of his pride and joy, and he spent much of his time with them. Leaving behind many wonderful memories, his generosity, devotion, and love, Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy Telesky (Sawchuk) three daughters, Deborah and husband Todd Rurak, Darlene and husband Denis Rivard, Sandra and Pierre Trudeau; his five grandchildren, Dion and Brendon Rurak, Paige and Dylan Rivard, Travis Trudeau; his brother Ted Telesky, fellow employees and associates who were dear to Ron. Many thanks of gratitude go to Dr. Luke, Dr. Ian Maharaj, the staff at Grace General Hospital, and to all those who helped Ron and his family through this difficult time. A heartful of love to Rons wife, our mother Kathy who with her love, strength, devotion and faith gave our Dad the best of care. We thank you for giving so much, and asking so little. We love you Mom. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. with Rev. Walter Klimchuk officiating. According to his wishes, Ron will be cremated and interment will be held at a later date with family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rons memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, R3C 1R4. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements; 586-8044.
