ROSAN FRANCEY (nee TARKO) After a courageous battle with cancer, in the presence of her loved ones, Rosan Francey peacefully passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on November 28, 1999 at the age of 44 years. Rosan is lovingly remembered by her children, Kimberly (friend Dale Jackson), and Ryan; sisters, Teresa (Art) Kashak of Yorkton, Saskatchewan and Donna (Don) Jackson of Winnipeg; brothers, Ron (Betty) Tarko of Edmonton, Alberta, Larry (Lorraine) Tarko of Haywood, Manitoba, and Michel Tarko of Vancouver, B.C.; mother and father-in-law, Vi Francey and Slim Everall of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Colleen Crocker of Vancouver, B.C.; nephews, Jack Crocker and Joey and Derek Tarko as well as numerous relatives and friends. A special mention is extended to very dear, life-long friends of Rosan, Shirley Jackson and her husband Tom, and Maurice Poirier. Rosan was predeceased by her husband Danny, and by her mother Helen Tarko. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service in celebration of Rosans life will be held at the Saint-Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba on Wednesday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. Father Armand Legal will celebrate the Memorial Mass. Prayer service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment of Rosans cremated remains will take place in the Haywood Parish Cemetery following the mass. Rosans family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Daeninck, Father Michaud and the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care provided. Special thanks also to Darlene and Myrna. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Rosans memory to a charity of ones choice.
