WILLIAM HENRY MOYER Suddenly, on November 27, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital William Henry Moyer left this life. Bills love for living was embraced by warmth and a sense of humour that left a smile on everyones face. Truly a country gentleman who knew the meaning of compassion. Born and raised in Winnipegosis, Man. music was a gift that was shared and enjoyed by many. At a young age, the fiddle became Bills steady companion. The memory of his music will always linger. He served his country from 1943 and was discharged in February of 1946, during which time he was a Lieutenant Corporal. Bill was a power engineer for Selkirk Silica where he was employed until he retired in March of 1985. Predeceased by Abraham Moyer, Albert Moyer, Barbara Fredricks (Henry), Beth Metcalfe (George), Margaret Moyer, first wife Gladys in 1979; three sons, Ritchie, Robbie and Gordon. Those left behind include wife Barbara Moyer, Walter Moyer (Ruth), Jean Wilson (George), Jennie Urquhart (Jim), Ruth Moyer. Daughter Suzanne and son-in-law Norbert; grandchildren, Richard, Matthew, Kristopher Altvater. Also, son Bill and daughter-in-law Judy; grandchildren, Rich and Angie. Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Leatherdale Gardiner Chapel, 1501 Waverley for viewing. Cremation to precede funeral services on Wednesday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Barber officiating.
