ALLAN MICHAEL HOEHN It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Allan Hoehn on November 28, 1999 at the age of 65 years. Allan was raised in the Waldersee area. He completed mechanical training in Edmonton and later returned to Waldersee to farm. He and Mavis (nee Esslinger) were married in 1959 and continued to farm in Waldersee while raising three daughters. In 1975, the family moved to Langruth to run the hotel establishment. Allan and Mavis continued to operate the hotel until his sudden death. He was predeceased by his mother Ann in 1991. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 40 years, Mavis; his daughter Yvonne Bresnahan (Art) of High River, AB, his daughter Marianne Woods (Keith) of Portage la Prairie, MB, his daughter Laura Ricker (Todd) of Winnipeg, MB; his father Edward Hoehn of Gladstone, MB; his brothers, Frank (Judy) of Camrose, AB, and Bruce of Waldersee, MB; as well as 13 grandchildren. Funeral service will take place in the Grace Lutheran Church, Langruth on Thursday, December 2 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Waldersee churchyard cemetery. The family gratefully acknowledges Allans many friends and considers them all to be honourary pallbearers. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone entrusted with arrangements.
