DARIA NOSYK Passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on November 29, 1999. She was born in Stanislaviw, W. Ukraine on November 30, 1914. Daria was predeceased by her parents, brother Roman and sister Lubomyra of Ukraine; her husband Wolodymyr and son-in-law Eugene Deneka of Winnipeg. Our mother and grandmother will be sadly missed by her daughter Zenovia Deneka and son Yuri, daughter-in-law Maria Nosyk and five grandchildren Orest and wife Iryna and Roman Deneka; Vladimir of Calgary, Taisa and Bohdan Nosyk. Panakhyda (prayers) will be sung 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1 (tonight) at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 2 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. with Rev. M. Kouts officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be R. Halkewicz, S. Korbutiak, M. Kruk, I. Gawrachynski, O. Deneka and B. Nosyk. Special thanks to all the members of Zoloty Vorota club, especially to the president Mr. R. Halkewicz, for their kindness and support. Special thanks to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor for their help and understanding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darias memory may be made to the Social Services of Manitoba "Pomich-Ukraine" and to the "Plast" Ukrainian Youth Association.
