WALTER EDWARD LUSTY With deep sadness, the family announces the passing on December 1, 1999, of Walter Lusty, beloved husband of Terry, at Concordia Hospital. Walt was born in Winnipeg on November 18, 1923. He was a member of the City of Winnipeg Police Service for 37 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the East Kildonan Knights of Columbus, the Wireless Air Gunners Association, the Retired Veterans of the City of Winnipeg Police Association and a lifetime member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church. He served overseas with the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. Walt is survived by his beloved wife Terry; his daughters, Deborah Bedford (Doug), Susan Hill (Wes) and Valerie Clark (Keven) his sons, Brent, Patrick (Marlene) and Gregory (Suzanne) also his grandchildren, Cameron and Nicole Bedford, Graeme and Natalie Hill, Jamie and Shannon Clark, Megan and Katelyn Lusty and Vincent and Jasmine Lusty. Also survived by his sister Ada Holtman, his sister-in-law Germaine Gregoire and several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe and Brazier, East Kildonan, on Friday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m., followed by private burial of the cremains in St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manitoba Cancer Society or the Manitoba Alzheimer Society may be made. "Give sorrow words.
