Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELINE HOUSSIN (nee ADAM) It is with heavy hearts and deep regret that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great- Grandma Eveline Maria Houssin at the age of 86, on December 1, 1999 after a brief illness at the St. Boniface Hospital. Eveline was predeceased by her husband of 53, years, Michel in 1983, her son Marcel in 1932, her parents Marguerite in 1959 and Rene Adam in 1981, her brother Maurice in 1974, her brother Gus in 1985, her sister Gerry Hodge in 1988 and her sister Margaret Cox in 1995. She leaves to mourn her only daughter Diane and husband Les of Anola MB. Five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; Gary, Gail and husband Bill Wainwright and their daughter McKenzie, Gwen and her companion Fraser Murzak and Gwens daughter Shelby Colbert, Glen and his wife Laura and their son Mitchell, all of Winnipeg, Bob Lagasse and his wife Brenda and their sons Charles and Michael of Orleans, ON. One sister Audrey Lafreniere, sisters-in-law Nin Adam, Yvonne Houssin, Madeline West, brothers-in-law Bill Cox and Odil Houssin and his wife Kay, plus many nieces and nephews, and many good friends. Eveline worked many years at Bond and Ronald Chocolates and at the Lakewood K-Mart. She and Michel used to enjoy bowling, belonging to the 5 Pin Association at Coronation Alleys, the Happy Gang at Niakwa Lanes and the Windsor Golden Agers of the Windsor Park Lanes. Travel was a special pleasure for Eveline. She and Michel travelled all over Canada and the USA. She enjoyed bus tours to Grand Forks and trips to Warroad, MN. Shopping was a real pleasure for Eveline. Until she got sick on November 8, she still enjoyed driving her car. Thanks to doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and the staff of Medox Health Services who pampered and took care of Mom till the end, especially Janet McGiffin. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. with Reverend Fr. Ron Leger, C. S. V. presiding. Viewing will take place half hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens, #1 Hwy E. & Gavin Road. Pallbearers will be; Ken Houssin, Ron Houssin, Bob Houssin, Maurice Dubruiel, Edward Dubruiel and Reme Berngmann.
