ROBINA KITZ ZIMMERMAN Peacefully on Friday, December 3, 1999 Robina Kitz-Zimmerman passed away at the age of 87. She was born on July 12, 1912 in the town of Minitonas, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husbands, Robby and Cecil; parents Rev. and Annie Meek; four brothers and three sisters. Robina leaves to mourn her children, Margaret (George) of Brussels, Belgium, Lynne (Richard) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Robert (Carol) of Prince Rupert, B.C.; four stepchildren, Donald, Lillian, Lloyd, June and their families; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and special friend Florence Wakefield. Mum was a loving, caring, gentle person and lived life to the fullest. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and the extensive travelling she did after retirement. She especially enjoyed the 30 years she had spent in the winter residence in Florida. Mum will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all that knew her. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the staff and especially the care givers of the 5th floor at C.P.L. Poseiden Car Centre for their love and compassion shown to mum and her family while Robina resided there. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 7, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba. A private family interment will take place later in the day at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Rest in Peace Mum. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
