Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND LEO PAGEE Peacefully on December 4, 1999, with his family at his side, at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, Raymond Pagee, aged 66 years of Winnipeg, formerly of Lundar, Manitoba. Raymond was born on December 20, 1932 in Richdale, Sask. He moved to Chatfield, Man. and then to Abbeville. On February 9, 1952, he married Lillian Capner and raised their nine children. In 1973, he moved to Lundar, then later resided in Winnipeg where he spent the rest of his life. He worked for the CNR and then Manitoba Telephone System for many years. Raymond farmed with his family for a short time in the Abbeville District. He was known to be a tremendous handyman. Raymond leaves to mourn his nine children, daughters, Lena (Art) Caldwell of Winnipeg, Joyce (Russell) Kirby of Lundar, Brenda (Edward) Monkman of Lundar, Shirline Shorting of Winnipeg, Dale (Leo) Ducharme of Winnipeg; sons, Leo (Kelly) Pagee of Lundar, Steven (Marlene) Pagee of Winnipeg, Roy (Cindy) Pagee of Winnipeg and David (Corrie) Pagee of Dugald; 36 grandchildren, Aimee (Pete), Tania (Mike), Teresa (Brad), James, Joseph, Russell Jr., Robert, Thea, Lillian, Ricky, Patrick, Melissa, Adam, Jeffrey (Angie), Vanessa, Tony, Jessie, Cody, Marsha, Monica, Patricia, William, Charlotte, Connie, Lee, Marcel, Marlene, Michael, Kathleen, Nicholas, Gregory, Lisa, Stefanie, Ryan, Renee and Cortney; five great-grandchildren, Makayla, Elizabeth, Chelsey, Tiara and Tenesha, and many foster grandchildren. He is also survived by six brothers and two sisters. Raymond was predeceased by his wife Lillian on August 3, 1987; his father Victor on September 10, 1967; his mother Elizabeth on September 25, 1983; his mother-in-law Adrienne Capner; father-in-law Henry Capner; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; two granddaughters, Melanie and Nicole Pagee and one grandson Leroy Pagee. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, and especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An evening memorial prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9 at the Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg with Father Gary Killen officiating. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10 at the Lundar Legion Hall with Father Ernest Kamath officiating. Interment to follow in the Abbeville Cemetery. A very special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, fifth floor, Units 2 and 3, for the wonderful care they gave our father during the short time he spent there.
