THOMAS MACGREGOR WILLIAMSON It is with deep regret and sadness that we must announce the passing of Thomas Macgregor Williamson, age 70 years, on Monday, December 6, 1999 at the Selkirk & District General Hospital; beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Tom was born in Glasgow, Scotland, June 26, 1929, and came to Canada with his wife Betty and their six children in 1967. Throughout his years he had worked at SMHC, M.R.M., Headingly Correctional Institute, and Mandak Metal Processors, where he retired from in June 1994. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) in 1994, he leaves to mourn his passing his great many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Derek (Irene) Williamson, grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Cory, and Derek Jr. (Lorey) and great-grandsons, Cody and Dylan of Winnipeg, Man., Carol Lassell (Dave) and granddaughters, Amanda and Heather and great-grandson Cole of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Janice Anderson (Allan), granddaughters Tracy and Jacqueline van Mil (Steve) and great-granddaughter Carly, of East Selkirk, Manitoba, Samantha McDonald (Danny) and grandchildren Lee of Selkirk and Jennifer Lagace (Kevin) of Winnipeg, Thomas Jr. Williamson (Tenille) and grandchildren Scott, April and Makaeli of Selkirk. At Dads request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. The family wishes to thank Dr. Wozny and the Staff of the Medical Ward at the Selkirk General Hospital. Gilbarts Funeral Home of Selkirk in charge of all final arrangements. As much as we feel sorrow in his leaving us at this time, we take great comfort from knowing that he is now reunited with Mom whom he has so greatly missed these last few years.
