WILLIAM (BILL) W. HAYS On Monday, December 6, 1999 at the St.Boniface Hospital, Bill passed away at the age of 80 years. Bill leaves behind his wife Valerie (nee Peterson) his daughters, Sandra and husband Yiannis Papageorgiou of Arachova, Greece, Linda and Don; grandson Mark Nelson; son Russell and Carol. Bill joined the RCAF and served during the Second World War. He was an active member of the Duke of Kent Legion. Upon leaving the Air Force, Bill joined the Canadian Wheat Board. Soon after he worked as an accountant for the good people of Manitoba Pool where he worked over 30 years until his retirement. Bill enjoyed playing and watching both curling and golf. He was also an avid reader of fiction and spent many summers at the cottage in Winnipeg Beach. At Bills request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be sent to a charity of their choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
