CECIL TODD Peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 1999, Cecil Todd passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 88. Cecil is survived by his loving wife Muriel of 45 years; his daughters, Carol (Len) Bennett of Missouri; Sharon (Pat) Todd of Kelowna, BC; Linda (Kelly) Lawrence of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother Lawrence (Peg) Todd of Calgary; two sisters, Grace Gordon of Winnipeg, Berdina Lunn also of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Irene Hartnell; niece Roberta Linnett; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Cecil was born in Altona, MB on March 6, 1911 and was raised in Gretna, MB. He enlisted in the army at an early age where he spent his entire career serving in the Second World War, serving with the U.N Peace Keeping Corps in the Middle East in 1956 and retiring as a Colonel after 33 years of service.
