PAMELA GAIL WOLOVICK (BUNKOWSKY)
Date of Passing: Nov 21, 1999
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAMELA GAIL WOLOVICK (nee BUNKOWSKY) Peacefully and with love all around her, it is with great sadness that our family announces the death of our beloved wife and mother, Pamela Wolovick, on November 21, 1999, at the age of 45, after battling cancer since 1983. Pamela passed away at St. Marys of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. Pamela was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Dave Wolovick in 1979. They moved seven times over the next 19 years. Pam was a very special person and she has retained friends from British Columbia to New Brunswick to this day. Pamela worked for years as an engraver and taught many people how to engrave. But after her first fight with cancer, Pam found more joy in volunteering and fund raising. She has volunteered at her childrens schools all across Canada. She leaves behind to mourn her husband Dave (son of Morley and Sarah Wolovick of Winnipeg) her two sons, Daniel and Andrew; her brother Garry Bunkowsky, his wife Yvonne and their two children, Nya and Jodie. Pamela was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Alice Bunkowsky earlier this year. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at Kingston General Hospital and St. Marys of the Lake Hospital, and to Dr. Kain. Your kindness, support and care will always be remembered. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Reverend Krentz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pamelas memory to the library at Lancaster Drive Public School in Kingston, Ontario, 1020 Lancaster Dr., Kingston, ON, K7P 2R7. A memorial fund has been set up in Pamelas name and the library will be dedicated to her later this year. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
