Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRALPH D.W. SEIDEL Ralph, beloved son and brother, although you are no longer with us on this earth, you are in our hearts always. Ralph D.W. Seidel, 36, tragically passed away on September 18, 1999. Ralph leaves behind to remember him, his parents, Werner and Christel; his sister Irene and brother-in-law Gordon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, both in Winnipeg and Europe; as well as many good friends. Ralphs passion was with the outdoors and he was in it as much as possible, both in summer and winter. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed and excelled in many activities including biking, roller-blading, gliding, parachute jumping, snowmobiling, as well as others. His main passion however was sailing and he was both admired for and proud of his sailing skills. Ralph had a great love and high regard for the environment and nature. He belonged to and assisted with several environmental organizations. Ralph enjoyed learning about things and how they worked. He enjoyed reading books on a large variety of topics. Ralph was dedicated and closely committed to his family. He had many friends and he could always be counted on to be there to lend support in numerous ways. He was admired and respected by many people for his selfless assistance and he was never judgmental of others. Ralph enjoyed life. Ralph was involved with such charities including the Childrens Variety Club and Greenpeace. A service of remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Fellowship will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of their choice. The family would like to express their most sincere appreciation and thanks to many of our friends and the people who so very kindly assisted and supported us over the last few months.
