Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE LEA ANNA BRIDGMAN Peacefully on December 6, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Lea, beloved wife of Wilfred George, went to be with Jesus. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Gail Abbott (Charlie) of Oak Lake and Barbara Ferguson (Brock) of Toronto; grandchildren, Blake, Sean and Tara Abbott, Brock Jr., Chelsea and Parker John Ferguson and her son George of Winnipeg. Also sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her two sisters and two brothers. Lea was born to Marie and Emile Ducharme at Oak Lake, Man. on October 25, 1910. She was a gifted athlete, excelling in basketball, baseball and girls hockey. As a young woman she became an avid golfer and tennis player. A loyal fan of hockey and football, she spent many hours listening to and watching games. Upon graduation she entered St. Josephs Hospital where she trained and received her R.N. degree. She took great pride and joy in her profession. A loving wife, she was married to Wilfred for 55 years. Lea cherished her important role of mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting for her family. Lea loved the Lord dearly and passed those values onto her children. She was very proud of her grandchildren and prayed unceasingly for them with great results. The family wishes to thank Home Care and Deer Lodge Centre for their care, kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at Oak Lake, Man.
