HARRY WAYNE CHERNETZ Mr. Harry Wayne Chernetz passed away tragically December 2, 1999 in the Maldives at the age of 51 years. Harry leaves many to mourn his passing. Madeline, his loving wife of 20 years; his son Michael and daughters, Kelly and Carla; his aunt and uncle, Rita and Peter Bernusky; special cousins, Elaine Kidd and George Chernetz; his sister Merna; mother and father-in-law Melba and Harry Baker; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Harry was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 12, 1948 to Sidney and Dina Chernetz, deceased. Harry left his Winnipeg area home after high school for helicopter pilot training in British Columbia and continued forth in the aviation industry in Canada, Greenland, Morocco, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. Residing in the City of Calgary since 1989, he was owner of Venture Helicopters (M.K.C.) Inc. for the past eight years, a well respected businessman, associate and friend. Since 1995, he served on the executive board of the Helicopter Association of Canada. Harry will be fondly remembered by those he left behind for his love of family and children and his passion for the helicopter industry, sharp wit and generous nature. A memorial service will be held at the Venture Helicopters Hangar (1060 Mctavish Road, N.E.) on December 11 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, contributions may be sent directly to the Alberta Childrens Hospital (1820 Richmond Road S.W., Calgary, AB, T2T 5C7).
