THEODORE (TED) GLAICAR It is with great sorrow, that we the family announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at the age of 82 years, with his beloved wife Betty and family by his side. Besides his wife Betty, Ted is survived by his loving children, Barry; Bonnie Gaudette (Joe) Melody. Ted is also survived by eight grandchildren, Aynslee and Kelly; Cory and Ryan; Crystal; Grant, Jasmine and Bradley. He is also survived by brothers, Eddie (Lizzie), and Paul; also by his sisters, Ann, Marie, Vie; and many nieces and nephews. Ted was born on July 7, 1917 in Otthon, SK. He served in the army overseas during the Second World War. He resided in Winnipeg, and then retired from the University of Manitoba. At Teds request a private family service will be held in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel. The family wishes to thank the 3rd floor at the Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care given to Ted. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 566 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0G7.
