JAMES GEORGE ROBERTSON With deep regret we announce the passing of James George Robertson on November 30, 1999 at the age of 83. James was predeceased by his first wife Julia in 1961 and brother Charles William, December, 1994. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Natalie (Urick) step-daughter LaVerne (Foster) grandchildren, Joelle and Robert Jr.; great-grandchild Kianna, and nieces and nephews. James was a staunch member of the Royal Canadian Legion #002 for 44 years. He had worked for Via Rail for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed many activities such as golfing, dancing, playing cards, watching sports such as football, hockey and wrestling. He also travelled to Scotland on many occasions to visit family and friends. James was known for indulging in his three Cs - big cars, candy and cookies. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the G.D.4 Wing at the Health Sciences Centre. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Wednesday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. with the Reverend Don Wilson officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
