Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMELISSA STEVENS Peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 1999 at Golden Links Lodge, Melissa Stevens aged 83, beloved widow of Roy Stevens. She leaves her daughter, Phyllis English; sons, Leslie and Robert; seven grandchildren, four great-grand-children; brothers, Dave, Arthur, Donald and Allan Higgins; and one sister Laura Imre. Melissa was born in Shoal Lake and raised in Darwin, moving to Winnipeg after her marriage in 1935. She worked many years as a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with Padre Stanley Millar officiating. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Golden Links Lodge, for the loving care given to our mother.
