ANNE CWIAK STOLAR Anne Cwiak Stolar, 77 of Erie died Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at her residence. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, November 6, 1922 daughter of the late Wasyl and Mary Hamara Cwiak. Mrs. Stolar was a Registered Nurse having worked at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg from 1942 to 1945 and also worked with the Visiting Nurses in the Meadville area from 1976 to 1981. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with children and care giving. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. John Stolar and one brother Walter Cwiak. Survivors include, three daughters, Aline Mary Stolar of Hamilton, Ont., Dr. Marguerite Anne Stolar Ramsten and her husband Mike of Vancouver, B.C., and Laryssa Lydia Stolar of Erie; three sons, John Joseph Stolar and his wife Barbara of Erie, William Michael Stolar of Erie and Peter Andrew Stolar of Erie and one sister Olive Bergman of Kitchener, Ont. Also survived by five grandchildren. Friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 695 Smithson St. Lawrence Park, on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Private burial will be at Chautauqua Cemetery, Chautauqua, New York. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Metropolitan Erie, 110 West 10th St. Suite 208, Erie, PA. 16501. The Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. East 21st and Ash Street, Erie, PA is handling arrangements.
