STUART ARNOLD SWEENEY Stuart Arnold Sweeney died on December 3, 1999 at Deer Lodge Centre where he resided. Stuart was born on a farm in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario on March 10, 1916 and was one of 11 children. He served with the Canadian Highlanders of Ottawa from June 8, 1940 until October 2, 1945. During his lifetime Stuart drove transport trucks and travelled throughout Canada and loved to relate his experiences to all with whom he came in contact. Stuart also loved his two pets, a dog "Curley" and his cat "Puddy" for both of whom suitable homes have been found. The service will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, on Tuesday, December 14 at 2:30 p.m. with interment to follow. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
