GARY GEORGE SEROFIN June 29, 1939 - December 9, 1999 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Serofin, beloved son of Nell and the late Michael Serofin, brother of Joan Buck and uncle to Diane Buck and Donna Huff (Kelly), at Concordia Hospital on December 9, 1999. Gary is also survived by his aunts, Helen Nethery (John), Ann Ridgewell (Don), Dorothy Oleski (Paul) uncles, Paul Serofin, Mike Kutzy, Peter Kutzy and Nicholas Kutzy of Spearhill, Manitoba, and many cousins. Gary was born and raised in Transcona, attending Central School. He spent most of his life in Transcona except for seven years in the U.S.A. He was a member of the Transcona Legion Branch No. 7. Gary retired after many years with the C.N.R. where he worked as an electrician. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Chaplain Paul Martin officiating. Gary was a wonderful son, brother and uncle and we will miss him very much. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
