RODERICK JOHN WILSON (RICKY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roderick John Wilson, on December 7, 1999 at Portage General Hospital. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Ricky was predeceased by his parents Roderick and Florence Wilson. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Sandy Eaton. brother-in-law Tim; niece Lisa Loewen and Anthony; nephew Blair Eaton; aunt Ann McRitchie; cousins; Margaret Ross, Norma Dann, Lorne Jackson and Jim Jordan. Ricky was born October 29, 1943 and was raised and educated in Winnipeg. He enjoyed the simple things in life, listening to music, singing, watching a good baseball game and going for walks. He enjoyed reading the newspaper every morning and having that cup of coffee. Give Ricky a chore to do and it would be done to perfection. He resided with his loving family till his latter years, when he became a resident of the Manitoba Developmental Centre. There they attended to his special needs and through that many special friendships were formed. The family extends their gratitude to all the staff at The Manitoba Developmental Centre and friends for their special care to Roderick. We also thank the Dr.s, nurses and staff at the Portage General Hospital for their care, support and kindness. A private family service was held on Friday, December 10.
