Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCYPRIEN PHILLIP ROUSSET After a brief illness it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend on December 3, 1999 at Carman Hospital. He is now in Gods hands. He leaves to mourn his wife Marie; children, Theresa (John) Stanley, Herve (Martha) Bourgeois, Ernest (Irene) Bourgeois, Edward (Brenda) Rousset, Antoinette (Fred) Coates, Lynn Douglas and friend Paul (Jackie) Rousset; 24 wonderful grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and four stepchildren from his second marriage; brothers and sisters. He is predeceased by his first wife Eveline (nee Proteau), daughter Noella and son Charles. Cyp was born in St. Lupicin, Man., on May 26, 1916, son of Marie Rousset and Cyprien Cardinal. He farmed in Roseisle and Eriksdale until 1960. He then lived with his family in St. Boniface until two years ago. Retired from City of Winnipeg Parks Department in 1981. He enjoyed the St. Boniface Kiwanis Club, going to bingo and especially spending time with his family. "PA" was an outgoing man who loved people and enjoyed many friends. He spent many hours in his later years praying for his family he loved so much. The family want to thank Dr. Duprat and the staff at Carman Hospital and the home care workers at Parkview Manor. Prayers and viewing at Desjardins Funeral Chapel 357 Des Meurons, Winnipeg, Sunday, December 5, at 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, No. 1 Hwy. East at Navin Rd. Father Martin Houston will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christmas Cheer Board - 669-5369.
