Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL HAWES On December 2, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Paul Hawes, aged 69 years of Lockport, Manitoba. Paul was born in Selkirk on June 10, 1930 and had lived there until moving to Lockport in 1970. He had worked at Selkirk Esso, Imperial Motors and then for over 25 years at Veitch Truck Lines. Paul loved life and enjoyed travelling, especially his trips down to the Shooting Star. He was a friendly man who will be missed by all who knew him. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Cyrill and Belle; his wife, Vera Feledechuk; brothers, John, James and Robert; and sisters, Lorna and Florence. He leaves surviving two sons, Doug (Judy) of Petersfield and Garry (Lorrie) of East Selkirk; a daughter Sandra of Selkirk; a sister Ivy Johnson of B.C.; nephew and niece Bill (Pat) and Joan McKetchen; special friends, Bev, Bud, Nick, Verley, Ronnie and Garry; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, December 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Interment of ashes will take place in the St. Clements Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
