ROSE WYCHRESCHUK (nee GUSHTA) On Thursday, December 2, 1999 Rose Wychreschuk, aged 75 years, beloved wife of the late Mike Wychreschuk of Beausejour, passed away at the Beausejour District Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her children, Russell (Eugenie) of Beausejour, Man. and their children, Jeremy, Alena, Liane and Mandy; Richard (Helena) of Regina, Sask. and their children, Dustin, Kristin and Corleen; Elaine of St. Johns Newfoundland; Arlene (Ray Kobzos) of Burnaby, B.C. and Nadine of Ottawa, Ont. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Kay Plante, Helen Gorrell, Jeanette Manitowich, Eva Chuhie, Valerie Manitowich and her brothers, John, Mike, Frank, Victor and Albert. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Mike; her infant son Harvey; her father Michael; her mother Anna; her sisters, Stella, Mary Janeczko, Annie Skrepetz and her brothers, Ed, Nick and Joe. Rose was born in Libau, Manitoba on September 28, 1924, lived in Dencross and then moved to Beausejour. She took great pride in her work at East Gate Lodge until her retirement. In addition, throughout the years she was an active volunteer in numerous organizations. Her positive outlook and sense of humour was always appreciated by everyone and will be missed by her family and many friends. Thank you for all the support, kindness and visits she received and also to the many people who cared for her during her illness. Prayers will be held on Monday, December 6 at 8:00 p.m. in Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, Man. The funeral service, also at Sobering Funeral Chapel will be held Tuesday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Alexander Harkavyi and Very Rev. John A. Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow at the Sand Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Harvey Manitowich, Phillip Chuhie, Richard Manitowich, Kenton Gorrell, David Seifert and son-in-law Ray Kobzos. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7 or to a charity of ones choice.
