Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I met Jimmy in 1995 at Winchester, Ontario at a re-union held in honour of the RCAF soldiers stationed in 1942-1944 on a barren wind-swept rock at the most northerly tip of Newfoundland: Cape Bauld. There were nine soldiers at the re-union from various parts of Canada, and I had the luxury and distinction of being the "special invited guest" from Cape Bauld, Newfoundland. RIP Jimmy. - Posted by: Wayne Bartlett, Quirpon (Cape Bauld), Newfoundland (Friend from Newfoundland) on: Mar 17, 2014
