CAROL ROSE YOSYK (nee JEFFREY) Peacefully after a very courageous battle with cancer, Carol Yosyk passed away with family and friends by her side on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Carol leaves to mourn her loving husband of 34 years, Peter Brian Yosyk; beloved daughter Tammy and her precious granddaughter Kianna; mother-in-law Nellie Yosyk; brothers, Jeff Jeffrey, Gerald Jeffrey (Shirley), Tom Jeffrey (Lorraine), Bill Jeffrey (Clara) in-laws, Wayne Walker (Elaine), Brenda Winning (Garry), June Feaks (Ken), as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by son Rick and her parents, Rose and John Jeffrey. Recently after 20 years of service, Carol retired from Canada Safeway Ltd., where she made many valuable and lasting friendships. Moms passions and joys in her life included doing crafts, professional rollerskating where she won countless awards, a passion for music that she shared with her son Rick, brothers Jeff and Gerry, as well as spending time with family and friends. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, December 15 between 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16 at 1:00 p.m. also at Cropo Chapel with Pastor H.H. Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Jeffrey, Tom Jeffrey, Gerry Jeffrey, Rick Nault, Wayne Cook, and Randy McConaghy. Honorary pallbearer Jeff Jeffrey. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
