JOHN I. REIMER 1918 - 1999 On Saturday, December 11, 1999 at the Bethel Hospital, Winkler, John I. Reimer, age 81 years of Winkler, went to his eternal rest. John was the parts man for Winkler Co-op and local John Deere dealership for many years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Margaret Reimer (nee Dyck) three daughters, Marie and husband Jim Hamm of Ile de Chenes; Kathy and husband Pete Giesbrecht of Hochfeld; Darlene and husband Jack Giesbrecht of Winkler; two sons, Harold and wife Naomi Reimer of Winkler; Ike and wife Pat Reimer of Iquluit, Inuvik; daughter-in-law Anne (Rollie) Reimer of Winkler; 13 grandchildren and three sisters. He was predeceased by one son Rollie Reimer in 1991; and four sisters. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler (121 8th St.) today from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at the Schanzenfeld Cemetery.
